Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) used by Landlordspaces. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local and session storage work in a similar way. They let a site recognise your browser, remember settings and keep you signed in. “Session” items disappear when you close your browser; others stay for the time shown.
2. Essential cookies and storage
These are needed for the Platform to work and do not need your consent.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ls_session | Keeps you signed in | Set by your sign-in; ends when you sign out or it expires |
ls_csrf | Protects forms against forgery | Session |
ls_terms | Remembers that you accepted our Terms during this visit, so we do not ask on every page | Session; asked again after a period of inactivity (30 minutes by default) or when the Terms change |
ls_flash | Shows a short success or error message | A few seconds |
ls_oauth | Completes sign-in with Google or Facebook | A few minutes |
3. Preference cookies and storage
These remember choices you make. If you block them, the Platform still works but forgets those choices.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ls_cur, ls_country, ls_country_src | Your chosen or detected country and currency for prices | Up to a year |
ls_lang, googtrans | Your language and page translation choice | Up to a year |
ls_pos | Your approximate position for “near me” and distances, where you allow it | Short |
ls_theme, ls_snd, ls_geo (browser storage) | Light or dark mode, message sounds, location choice | Until you clear your browser data |
ls_compare (browser storage) | Properties in your compare tray | Until you clear your browser data |
ls_rentpop (session storage) | Remembers you dismissed the rent reminder for this visit | Session |
4. Analytics and security cookies
A first-party cookie, ls_vid, lets us count unique visitors and spot abuse. It lasts up to one year. A few other first-party cookies avoid counting the same view twice (for example on help articles and listings). We also keep server logs of visits and security events (see our Privacy Policy). We do not use these cookies to build advertising profiles.
5. Advertising cookies
If advertising is switched on, Google AdSense may set cookies to show and measure ads. Where the law requires consent, these load only after you choose to allow them, using the choice shown on the Platform. You can change that choice at any time by clearing the ls_ads_consent item in your browser storage or your site data.
6. Third-party content
Maps, map tiles, translation, sign-in buttons, embedded content and payment pages are provided by other companies. When your browser loads them, they may receive your IP address and browser details and may set their own cookies. We choose providers carefully, but their use of data is governed by their own policies.
7. Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies means you cannot stay signed in or use forms.
- You can clear local and session storage in your browser’s site-data settings.
- Your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal is not a standard we can reliably act on, but we do not track you across other websites.
- If you decline our Terms notice, you cannot use the Platform, but we set no further cookies for you.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or change cookies. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Questions: cosmoselijah@gmail.com.
This document is a general-purpose standard form provided with the software. It is not legal advice. The operator should have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer and keep it consistent with the cookies actually in use.
