In short. Be honest, be respectful, and use Landlordspaces for real property and real people. We remove content and close accounts that break these rules.
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Landlordspaces: visitors, finders, tenants, owners, landlords, agents, developers, companies, testers and staff. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Be truthful
List only property you own or are authorised to market, with accurate prices, fees, size, condition and availability.
Use your own, current photos and documents. Remove or update a listing when it is sold, let or no longer available.
Do not post duplicates, “bait” prices, fake reviews, or listings made only to collect fees or personal data.
Give honest information to verification reviewers. Forged, altered or borrowed documents lead to permanent removal and may be reported to the police.
2. Respect other people
No harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual content or pressure tactics in messages, listings, reviews, profiles or inspections.
Do not share other people’s private details (phone numbers, IDs, bank details, photos) without their permission.
Use contact details you receive only for the property enquiry they were shared for. No spam, mass messages, scraping or reselling of contact details.
Landlords: do not use tenant information to harass, intimidate, discriminate against or unlawfully pressure a tenant.
3. Handle money honestly
Never ask anyone to pay before they have inspected a property in person, or to pay into an account that is not clearly the owner’s or a properly authorised representative’s.
Only confirm rent as received when the money has cleared in your account. Do not issue receipts for money you have not received.
No fraud, advance-fee schemes, money laundering, or use of the Platform for unlawful activity.
4. Do not abuse the system
Do not manipulate the Verification Score, trust scores, rankings, views, clicks or click-bonus credits, for example with fake accounts, bots, self-clicking, paid or artificial traffic or false reports.
Do not bypass verification, moderation, messaging or rate limits, and do not probe, scan, attack or overload the Platform. If you find a security weakness, tell us at cosmoselijah@gmail.com and give us time to fix it.
Do not scrape, copy or republish listings, prices, scores or user data by automated means without our written permission, and do not reverse engineer or resell the Platform.
Do not share your login or create multiple personal accounts.
5. What we will not allow
Illegal content or listings, or property that cannot lawfully be sold or let.
Malware, phishing links or content that infringes someone’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Content that exploits or endangers children, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
Misuse of the Landlordspaces name, logo, Verified badge or scores to suggest we endorse you.
6. What happens if rules are broken
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may warn you, remove content, lower or remove scores and badges, restrict features, withhold credits or payouts, suspend or close your account, and report the matter to the police, regulators or affected people. We keep logs of important actions. You can ask us to review a decision by writing to cosmoselijah@gmail.com.
7. Report a problem
Use the Report button on any listing or profile, or email cosmoselijah@gmail.com. In an emergency or if you have been the victim of a crime, contact the police first. See also our Safety Tips.
